Felicia's opulent, cream coloured apartment in the city contrasts wildly against Gaspard's higgledy-piggledy house in the country. In L'ours et la poupée characterisation is conveyed through the spaces Gaspard and Felicia inhabit; reflecting their differences in class, attitudes and values. The film features furniture from the Knoll Collection.
